Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service attended 2,164 primary fires in its latest reporting year, compared with 1,187 at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. False alarms make up a notably larger share of call-outs in Hampshire and Isle of Wight (50% vs 37%).
